Kailey
Taylor

Kailey
is 14 years old and will be attending Sultana High School in Hesperia,
California, as a Freshman in August.
She has been a member of the Waves since she was 7 and holds many
state and regional titles in all events.
She was last years Preteen Miss Majorette of CA and will be
representing CA and the Western Region in the "Big One"
(National Twirling Championships) at Notre Dame.
She will also be competing in the World Open Solo twirl, strut,
2-Baton and 3-Baton as well as Duet Twirl with her cousin, Megan Baker.
Kailey enjoys horseback riding and listening to music and her goal
at this time is to attend the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs after
she graduates from High School.

Tasha
Taylor

Tasha
is 10 years old and will be in the 5th grade in August at Kingston
Elementary School in Hesperia, California.
She has been on the Waves for the past 3 years.
She’s the 2003 Juvenile National Rhythmic Twirling Champion!
Tasha has earned many State and Regional titles in many events in
her twirling career, as well as All West Regional and California Miss
Majorette Pageant titles. She will be competing for the 2004 Juvenile "Little
Big One" (National Twirling Champion) as well as the Juvenile Miss
Majorette of America at AYOP. Tasha
is also competing in the World Open 2-Baton, Solo Twirl, Strut, and
Duet with Rachel Kahan at Notre Dame.
Tasha loves to sing and dance as well as horse back ride and would
love to be a Veterinarian.

Whitney
VandenRaadt

Whitney
VandenRaadt is a senior at Ramona High School in Riverside, CA and carries
a 4.167 GPA. Whitney is a
part of the Performing Arts Magnet Program and has had numerous leads in
school plays and dance recitals. Whitney titles include: 2004 Teenage
Advance Regional and State Royalty, Intermediate State 2-Baton Champion,
Intermediate State Duet Champion, 2003 Junior Miss Majorette of
California. This summer she will be competing for the title of Teenage
Miss Majorette of America.

Brooke
Walter
|
Brooke has been twirling since she was 5 years old. She
has earned numerous California, regional, and national titles along with
being a Congressional Cup invitee and a 2002 Twirl Mania Gold finalist.
She also competed the World Championships in 2000 in England and
won the Rhythmic Twirl Gold in 2003 in France.
Brooke has just completed her freshman
year at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, where she is majoring in
Nutrition, Fitness, and Health Promotions.
She is a member of Tri Delta Sorority and loves working with
younger twirlers on weekends at Sue's Stepperette Studio in Omaha.
Brooke was selected to be this year's feature twirler for the
290-member Cornhusker Marching Red and will lead the band onto the field
in Tom Osborne Memorial Stadium.

Catherine
Watters
|
Catherine is going in the 9th grade this fall.
She loves ballet and recently started pointe classes.
She enjoys catching frogs and is a Raiders Football Fan. She enjoyed her 2nd trip to Orlando, Florida in
February when she won the Advanced Junior Miss Twirl Mania Pageant at
Disney’s Wide World of Sports.
She won the 2003 Preteen California State Strut, and the 2004 Junior
All-West Regional Strut. Then,
she was crowned the 2004 Junior Miss Majorette of California in April
qualifying her to compete in the Pageant at AYOP.
She also qualified for the National Twirling Championships, and
will also be competing in Rhythmic Twirl, and the World Open Solo Twirl,
strut, 2-Baton and duet, with partner, Desiré Rozell.

Michele
Widener

Michele is from Yorba Linda. She’s 13 and going into the 8th grade this
fall at Bernardo Yorba Middle School.
She’s their school’s “feature twirler” which is a rare and
wonderful opportunity! Michele
has earned many Regional and State solo and 2-Baton titles in her twirling
career including Miss Majorette of California.
She’s the 2004 State 2-Baton champion in her age division.
This year at AYOP she’s qualified to compete in the National
Twirling Championships and Miss Majorette of America pageant.
She will also be competing in Rhythmic Twirl, team, and all of the
World Open events. Michele is
a huge Star Wars fan!

Patricia
Widener

Patricia is 14 years old and is ready for her Sophomore
year at Valencia High in Placentia. She’s
in the I.B. and Honors Program there and has the honor of being the High
School Band’s feature twirler. She’s made the twirling finals at National’s placing in
the “Super 6” and the winner of the Tournament of Champions Major
Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada last year.
She’s the 2004 State and All West Regional 2-Baton Champion and
holds numerous State, Regional, and World Open Twirl, Strut and 2-Baton
Titles. She will be busy at AYOP competing in the National Twirling
Competition and Miss Majorette of America Pageant, as well as Rhythmic
Twirl, team, and All the World Open Events.
Patricia loves to read, especially Nancy Drew mysteries.

Alexa
Wisener

Alexa Wisener is from Orange County, California.
She will be starting the 4th grade in the fall. Alexa has
been competing for 3 years. She
is the 2004 All-West Intermediate Juvenile Strut Champ and the
Intermediate Pageant winner for 2002 and 2003 and enjoyed competing in the
Pageant at AYOP. Alexa is
looking forward to her 3rd trip to Notre Dame University this month where
she will be competing in the Advanced Juvenile Miss Majorette of America
Pageant, The National twirling championships and the World Open strut,
2-Baton, hoop, flag and show twirl. She
is especially excited to be competing as a member of the Waves juvenile
large dance twirl team for her first time at Indiana.
Alexa also enjoys dance, swimming and hanging out with her friends.
